What do "copies" and "streams" mean?
Copies are the sales and distribution units of your release - downloads, physical copies and paid releases. Monetized audio streams are counted separately and capped per lease: 10,000 on MP3, 50,000 on WAV, 100,000 on Trackout and unlimited on the Unlimited lease. Monetized video streams (YouTube monetization) need an exclusive.
How do I credit you?
Credit is required on every lease: put "(Prod. Deemax)" in the title or credits of your release, on every platform.
Which lease should I pick?
Recording a demo? MP3. Releasing on streaming? WAV. Working with an engineer who wants to mix the beat properly? Trackouts. Expecting a hit? Unlimited - or go exclusive.
How long does a lease last?
Every lease is a 10-year license. It covers for-profit live performances and unlimited non-profit performances, plus the copies, streams, videos and radio stations listed on your tier.
How do exclusive offers work?
